Dear Music Lovers,

Our recent Wine, Conversation, and Song evening at Steinway & Sons was a truly special night—one that beautifully captured the spirit of CES. Surrounded by an intimate audience and the stunning sound of a Steinway, the music felt especially immediate and alive, creating the kind of shared experience that reminds us why we gather to sing.

A highlight of the evening was our collaboration with guest artist Nathan De’Shon Myers, whose powerful, expressive performance brought both depth and joy to the program. It is always a privilege to work alongside artists of such caliber, and this collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to artistic excellence as we look ahead to our 20th anniversary season, A Season for Celebration.

Events like this are more than concerts—they are a meaningful part of sustaining CES’s mission and future. The generosity shown during the evening’s paddle raise helps ensure that we can continue to bring high-quality choral music to our community, support emerging young singers, and expand the creative scope of our programming in the seasons ahead.

Now, our focus turns to an exciting season finale: Happy 250th Birthday USA! This lively, family-friendly program will celebrate the richness of American music, featuring everything from patriotic favorites to barbershop, folk, country, classical, and mariachi, along with a spirited audience sing-along.

We also look forward to one of our most inspiring annual traditions—our Voice Scholarship Contest on April 21. Each year, we are reminded of the remarkable talent and dedication of young singers in our community, and it is an honor to help encourage and support their musical journeys.

It is an exciting time for CES. As we reflect on a memorable evening at Steinway, we are energized for all that lies ahead. Here’s a peek at some of the fun we had!

Warmly,

Carolyn Eynon

Artistic Director
