Kim Baney

Kimberly Baney Section Leader, 15th season Kim has sung with choirs for more than 50 years, including singing with Carolyn Eynon even before the Carolyn Eynon Singers was formed. She has performed at Lincoln Center and twice at Carnegie Hall and has performed on two continents. She plays French horn, trumpet, clarinet, drums, and piano.

Jolene Kuty

Jolene Kuty Soprano, 2nd season Jolene has sung in choirs for 17 years and is in her third season with Carolyn Eynon Singers. She has sung at Carnegie Hall and St Patrick's Cathedral NYC. Jolene is a practicing chiropractor at Kuty Chiropractic (kutychiropractic.com); she was valedictorian of her doctoral class and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is a mom of six and volunteer directs the choir at Sandpiper Elementary School. She also serves on the CES board of directors as treasurer.

Karin Smalkoski

Karin Smalkoski Soprano, 1st season Karin has sung in various choirs starting in high school, and moving on to university concert choir, church choirs, and soloing at weddings. She plays piano and flute as well. She performs as an accounting clerk in her spare time.

Nancy Rubatt Soprano, 2nd season Nancy is a choir pro, having sung for more than 50 years. She has appeared on two albums and sung on three continents, including a performance at the Vatican in Rome.

Linda Moser Alto, 5th season Linda has performed with Arizona Music Fest and Pro Musica. She has sung on many concert tours: to Israel with Dan Forrest and Voices of Faith; to Vienna, Prague, and Salzburg with the Phoenix Opera; to the Music Festival in Firenze with Mid America; to Ireland with Dr Kenny Miller and Voices of Phoenix; and to Carnegie Hall with John Massaro.

Elisabeth Orlowski

Elisabeth Orlowski Alto, 1st season Elisabeth has sung with choirs for many years and has toured to New York, the Czech Republic, and in Germany where she performed at the Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral). She plays piano as well, and is mother to two young children.

Noa Paden

Noa Paden Alto, 2nd season Noa grew up in a music-loving family and has sung all her life; she has the full range for soprano and alto but most enjoys singing alto harmonies. She sang with Sue Kenly Marshall and with Topher Keene before joining the Carolyn Eynon Singers. She has toured to Canada and sung with the International Choral Kathaumixw. Noa plays piano and has written several choral pieces; she also plays ukulele. Noa has a degree in Fine Arts and does commissions, illustrates children’s books, and draws and writes her own comics. She works as a personal administrative assistant for her former piano and voice teacher and is mom to a cat named Ravi.

Ted Schlossmacher Tenor, 5th season Ted is a software engineer at Honeywell by day but has sung in choirs for more than a decade and has performed on two continents. He plays trombone as well.

Susan Dover

Susan Dover Alto, 6th season This is Susan’s sixth season singing with Carolyn Eynon Singers. She has a lifelong love of music, theatre, and dance. Newly retired, she also enjoys hiking, travel, mah jongg, reading, cooking, and entertaining. Susan lives in Fountain Hills with her husband Jeff and two cats, Buddy and Winnie. She is grateful for the opportunity to sing with such a talented director and group of dedicated singers.

Randolph Murray

Randolph Murray, Jr. Tenor, 1st season Randy is a professional musician and music educator. He has performed at Radio City Music Hall and before Donald Trump and also the New Jersey Senate Assembly. He has also sung with Carmen, Beckah Shae, Daniel Winans, Mom Winans, Wess Morgan, and Ron Kenoly. He has sung on eight continents and appears on six albums. Randy is a chaplain with Agave Healthcare and has a channel on Spotify.

Andy Abbott

Andy Abbott Bass, 15th season Andy Abbott is a native of Phoenix, and though professionally he works in finance, he has been active in music since childhood. He started playing the trumpet in sixth grade, which he continued through high school, playing in Sunnyslope High School’s marching and concert bands. While in high school, he also got his start in choral singing with his church youth choir. Andy has sung in college, community, and church choirs and small ensembles over the years in many different venues. Andy has been in the Carolyn Eynon Singers for 15 years, serving also at times as our bass section leader and on the board of directors.

Steven O'Donnell

Steven O’Donnell Tenor, 6th season Steven’s vast musical influences span multiple genres, from traditional folk music to modern compositions of today. He studied voice in the Phoenix area with Ruth Dubinbaum and Baruch Koritan. Steven also sings tenor with the Arizona Masterworks Chorale and the Arizona Musicfest Festival Chorus. As a percussionist, Steven has performed with the Scottsdale Concert Band and the Scottsdale Philharmonic Orchestra. Steven graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Theory and Composition. He also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and is a Scottsdale Leadership alumnus.​

Jim Turchan Bass, 1st season Jim is a realtor who loves to sing. He has sung with Clay Bohmler at Unity Phoenix, and also with the Phoenix College Choir.

John Wanat

John Wanat Bass, 6th season John began organized singing in glee clubs in high school and college. He sang sporadically in church choirs over his middle years until he auditioned for a chorus that was singing Beethoven's 9th. Carolyn was the choral director for that concert and invited him to join the Carolyn Eynon Singers, which he happily did.
