We are beyond thrilled to welcome guest performer Nathan De'Shon Myers to our Evening at Steinway in February!

Nathan recently made his debut with the Houston Grand Opera as Jim in Porgy and Bess and as Pinellino in Il Trittico in the fall of 2025. Earlier in the year, he joined the acclaimed American Spiritual Ensemble for their 30th anniversary season tour. Myers has worked with many opera companies/orchestras both nationally and internationally. As a fest ensemble soloist with the distinguished Deutsche Oper Berlin, he performed a variety of roles, including Schaunard in La Boheme, Ping in Turandot, Dancairo in Carmen, Marullo in Rigoletto, Il Prologo in Cassandra, Silvano in Ballo in Maschera, Matthieu in Andrea Chenier, Dandini in La Cenerentola, Marquis d'Obigny in La Traviata, Antonio in Le Nozze di Figaro, and as both Erzbischof and Florent d’illiers in the world premiere of Walter Braunfels’ Szenen aus dem Leben der Heiligen Johanna, among many others.
In addition to his operatic career, Nathan is a seasoned professional in the commercial music industry. He has lent his voice to multiple recording projects including Kirk Franklin’s Grammy award-winning album entitled Losing My Religion and movie soundtracks including Kingdom Come, Hidden Figures, Everyday People, and the animated film The Star.
He is currently in his eighth year as Associate Professor of Voice and Choral at Arizona State University and remains active as a solo performer and conductor.
