About the event
Join us for an elegant afternoon of wine, conversation, and music in one of the Valley’s most inspiring settings! The Carolyn Eynon Singers will be joined by acclaimed guest artist Nathan De’Shon Myers—renowned operatic baritone, award-winning commercial vocalist, and Associate Professor of Voice and Choral at Arizona State University—for a richly varied musical program. Together, they will present selections from Porgy and Bess, Show Boat, and Ragtime, along with an opera aria and a spiritual, offering a compelling journey across styles and traditions.
The afternoon also features a relaxed, onstage conversation with Professor Myers, reflecting on his wide-ranging musical life in opera, jazz, gospel, Broadway, and academia, all enjoyed over a glass of wine.
