About the event

Join us for an elegant afternoon of wine, conversation, and song in one of the Valley’s most inspiring settings! In honor of Black History Month, we’re celebrating the extraordinary artistry of Nathan De’Shon Myers, an American singer, conductor, and educator whose career spans opera, jazz, gospel, and choral music. From major opera houses in Europe to Grammy-winning recordings and transformative work in music education, his story reflects the depth and breadth of Black musical tradition in America. Together we will present a richly varied musical program for a compelling journey across styles and traditions.

The afternoon also features a relaxed musical conversation with Nathan, enjoyed over a glass of wine. Held at the beautiful Steinway & Sons showroom, guests are invited to dress for an elegant event and experience music surrounded by world-class instruments. The event will include a live auction in support of the choir’s upcoming 20th anniversary season…
